Dr. Charis Frethey is a digital strategist and engagement expert with nearly a decade of experience leading digital initiatives in the health and community sectors. With a background in cancer research, she has a strong focus on equity-driven interventions, integrating whānau-centred, culturally responsive, and co-design methodologies into her work to ensure digital solutions enable equitable hauora outcomes.

Charis has been instrumental in establishing digital Communities of Practice (CoPs) that foster knowledge-sharing, collaborative problem-solving, and sustainable community development. Leveraging her expertise in communications, stakeholder engagement, and project management, she drives collaboration, collective action, and connection.
