Nau mai, haere mai,
We welcome all whānau to become Members of Hei Āhuru Mōwai. If you work or study in the cancer control, cancer care or the wider Māori public health and policy space, or if your whānau is affected by cancer, join us on our mission to eliminate cancer inequities between Māori and non-Māori and to improve cancer outcomes for whānau Māori.

‘Ko te matepukupuku ki te pō, ko te whānau Māori ki te whei ao, ki te ao mārama’.   

Hei Āhuru Mōwai is a national network of Māori cancer specialists who are committed to giving expression to rangatiratanga in cancer control for Māori.  The outcome of which means eliminating cancer inequities for Māori and better outcomes for whānau.

Āhuru Māori - we maintain our unique Māori view and tikanga in cancer control 

Āhuru Hua – we prioritise action and outcomes
