National Travel Assistance (NTA) scheme survey – have your say
In March changes to the National Travel Assistance (NTA) Scheme were announced by the Government. These are a step in the right direction, but we continue to drive for meaningful change for people who need to travel to treatment, their whānau, friends and supporters across the motu.
A project group led by our partners at the Cancer Society of New Zealand has been beavering away over the last few months on the detail needed to further improve the NTA Scheme. They are keen to hear what you think of their recommendations.
At the link below you can read about proposed changes to improve promotion of the NTA, eligibility criteria, administration, transport and accommodation rates and payment.
The survey sets out these ideas with room for your feedback. As a small thank you for your contribution, ten lucky people who complete the survey will be randomly selected to win a $50 supermarket voucher. Click here to give your feedback as an individual now.
We also welcome feedback from NGOs and other organisations who may wish to respond as a collective. Please provide your responses separately at this survey link.
The survey closes Monday 23 September at 4pm for both individual and collective feedback.
